Energy Efficiency for Rental Property

Emily Andrews, Executive Director, US Green Building Council – Missouri Gateway Chapter, discussed why it is important to track your energy use. U.S. Bank shared various options for financing energy efficiency improvements and talked about taking a creative approach to the matter. www.usbank.com

Tony Johnson, Program Director of Weatherization at the Urban League, shared details on their Weatherization Program targeted for low income home owners and tenants. The program may provide for an energy audit, insulation, sealing & air leak repair, dryer venting, installing weather stripping, window & door repair or replacement, furnace / hot water tank repair or replacement.  Included here are links to the various programs that were presented.
